A new veterinary practice has opened in Tingley at the mypetstop complex at Capitol Park. The surgery is owned by Calder Vets, one of the longest established and largest practices in Yorkshire. It has excellent facilities and is fully equipped to carry out all aspect of veterinary work.
The surgery is run by Vet Rachel Wilkinson and a team of veterinary nurses and receptionists. The nurses offer a free Pet Health Advisory Service where they can advise clients about worming and flea control, vaccinations and diets and any other issues they have relating to their pets health. Consultations for both the vets and nurses are preferably by appointment
and the surgery is open 6 days a week. 
Clients registered at the Tingley surgery will benefit from other Calder Vets facilities within the practice. The large veterinary hospital in Dewsbury is open 365 days a year and also provides a night time emergency service with vets and nurses on the premises 24 hours a day. High tech equipment such as CT and MRI scanners along with a team of experienced surgeons allow Calder Vets to serve their clients as well as acting as a referral centre for other veterinary practices. The Group prides itself on solving problem cases.

The surgery is equipped to the highest standards with day patient facilities. It consists of a spacious waiting room with reception area, 4 consulting rooms, full operating facilities, prep room, dental suite, radiography department, fully equipped lab and kennel area. This surgery is able to offer a full range of surgical and medical facilities and has the support and use of resources at the nearby Dewsbury Veterinary Hospital. There is a car park at the front of the surgery.
Our surgery offers low cost vaccinations and a micro-chipping service. A Pet Health Adviser is available by appointment to answer any questions you have and to provide advice for keeping your pet fit and healthy throughout his or her life.

Night Vets
Our Night Vet service provides your pet with a full accident and emergency service throughout the night. It is available to all pet owners in West Yorkshire. Night Vets are open 365 days a year.
Night Vets is based at the Calder Vet Hospital, Savile Road, Dewsbury. The hospital has a team of Vets and Veterinary Nurses working throughout the night, who are comprehensively trained in emergency medicine.
We are fully equipped to cater for all accident and emergency cases and have a number of intensive care kennels and isolation units.
